Background

The website Beinghunted.com is a resource for information on current affairs in the fields of art & design, events, clothing, toys, sneakers, and any other subject which can be attributed to these terms. The concept behind Beinghunted is to provide an audience of similar-minded readers across the globe with hints on where to shop for ltd. edition items, where to see certain art shows, and what products to expect from the ‘respected’ labels and retailers.

This concept has gradually broadened since the start of the Beinghunted website in October 2001. Now, Beinghunted not only offers updates on already established enterprises but also gives up-and-coming designers, artists, or projects the chance to present themselves through the site. There are no fixed criteria set for the acceptance of new entries, however, Beinghunted is eager to only publish the most creative and innovative concepts. Providing the information exclusive to Beinghunted is one of the only rules that should be followed by the entrants.


People

Exclusive information is the key element in the success of beinghunted. Through an extensive network consisting of some of the most influential people in the apparel, footwear, art/culture field, Beinghunted regularly receives information from all over the world on any of the subjects mentioned above. There are too many contributors to be listed here, however, to all of you: a big thanks for the continued support.

Submissions

Beinghunted takes great care in processing information. The major goal is to provide information that is fresh and exclusive, to present subjects that have not yet, or not in detail been talked about already. Beinghunted follows two strategies to gather information: A) research - whereby new content is produced by acquiring information from producers, artists, retailers, etc. B) submissions - the most relevant projects, ideas, subjects are chosen from a list of entries. In both cases, Beinghunted has set certain rules to keep the quality standard for reviews and features at the highest level possible:

Standards & Conditions
- data should be exclusive to Beinghunted (or at least parts of it)
- products: samples should be provided for product shots
- products: only high-res images will be accepted (inquire about standards, background, format, etc.)
- photography: all copyright issues and licences must be cleared
- entries should be Beinghunted affiliated
- Beinghunted reserves the right to pull information at any given time
- Beinghunted considers all information that is provided as official; confidential materials should be marked as
  such
- Beinghunted reserves the right to decide on whether information will be edited or taken offline on request of its
  provider

The standard for a Beinghunted post is to provide written information as well as visuals. Texts and Photographs that are taken from websites and publications, which are featured on Beinghunted.com, are copyrighted by their respective owners. Beinghunted also produces its own photographs of products, art shows, retail spaces, etc.. These images, as well as all texts, are property of Beinghunted and are protected.
