The KBC
Preston & Manchester, UK
Famous for producing some of the finest indie-dance bands known to man, the North-West of England comes up trumps again with The KBC.

Yet another product of the UK's thriving DIY music scene, The KBC hit the ground sprinting after landing a spot on the new bands stage at 2005's Glastonbury music festival. Following in the steps of Mancunian cohorts The Longcut, The KBC have nailed the difficult to achieve indie–dance sound, which The Happy Mondays, and The Stone Roses produced with consummate ease.

During 2006 limited edition tracks were released - most notably the Japan only EP, 'Boxed Beats and Shelved Rhythms', featuring the high octane 'Trippin'. In March 2007 their debut album 'On The Beat' will be released, featuring pulsating shards of electro, tight house basslines, underpinned by icy vocals about lost nights on the inner-city club train.

They are touring the UK now, and are definitely worth checking out live.

See you at the front!
