Did you have any thoughts about what it meant to create a portrait of Hiroshi Fujiwara for HUGE?

It was nice to start off with that one. I really respect what he does and think he has a great eye and sets a really high benchmark with everything he is involved with. It would be nice for it to come full circle and work with him at some point.

Past/Present/Future

If you could travel back in time - which period would you choose in regards to art/design? Which artist would you like to meet in person?

I like the artists and kids I'm hanging out with now. I think there is a lot of interesting things that are just under the surface and it's fun to see them come out slowly and see which ones work and which ones don't.

What is on your to-do list for the next seven days?

Anything designs, scanning photos for a NY skateboarding book, refinishing my flat file, picking up my girl from the airport, starting a painting for a group show in May. Meetings, not much sleep. Fixing up my storefront studio in the city. 25 Essex,   Come visit.

What would be your dream project in regards of design?

I just want to work on bigger and bigger projects. I want to put together a book soon of some personal work.
